Promoting the Kingdom of God in the hearts of His people.

Our History

The church began as a bible study in the basement of a local bank on Thursday, November 1, 2001.  Those in attendance included the Patton family and one other person. As others came, they along with the Patton’s believed God for increase and a release of His power upon the people of the community that they would come and commit themselves to the ways of God through this ministry.  The faith of the people was confirmed as the power of God was released in each subsequent bible study. Kingdom Life Christian Cathedral was then organized by Michael Patton, who was ordained as a Pastor by Apostle Dennis Givens of New Horizons Outreach Ministry in South Bend Indiana.

We began to lease space at 2618 S. Michigan Street where our services would be held.  We were grateful to every ministry that reached out and supported the vision that god had placed in us by contributing various items that we would be equipped to spread the gospel.

The first Sunday worship Service was held on December 2, 2001.  God confirmed His Word to us by adding new members to the church as He saw fit. We continued to look with great expectancy for what we knew God would continue to do.

In July 2004, we began to lease property at 707 Sherman Avenue, where we worship today, a 22,000 square foot building more than adequate for meeting the needs of the ministry according to the vision that God had given to us.  In 2007, we took ownership of the building and continue to purchase properties in the vicinity of the church to create the Kingdom Campus, which is a housing community created to encourage home ownership and empower  people to desire a better life. The church, now known as a church with a strong emphasis on teaching, evangelism and the Prophetic, stands as a beacon light to those who are lost, yet seeking salvation.

The church membership continues to grow and the people are seeing the blessings of God overtake them in great measure.
