Kingdom Life Youth Ministry
Purpose: This ministry develops the youth in the congregation and the community spiritually, socially, mentally, and physically by addressing, spiritually and social issues. Activities of the team are geared to introduce and evangelize youth to the Kingdom of God and to equip them for enthusiastic service for the Lord. The other objectives of the Youth Ministry are listed below:
- To provide opportunities to have fun and make friends
- Youth Fellowship
- Spring/Fall Mixers
- Youth Projects/Fundraiser
- Other Activities
- To break down barriers to Christ and the church
- Create a positive and accepting environment
- Youth Team will be relational-make contact outside of the church
- Youth Team will express joy in following Christ
- Intercessory prayer will take place for all the youth
- To demonstrate how Christ can relate to a youth’s life
- Church service topics will be relevant and understandable for youth
- Church service will involve the youth.
- To invite young people to have a closer relationship with Christ
- The invitation to Christ is integrated into the message
- Follow-up with those for salvation, rededication
The Youth Ministry Team serves as mentors and counselors for youth between the ages of 12- 18 years and coordinates all youth activities.
